These terms govern your use of Lighthouse at lighthouse.harborgang.com
and the MCP endpoint at /mcp/ ("the Service"). The Service
is operated by Harbor Gang ("we", "us"). By creating an account or
using the Service you agree to these terms.
The Service
Lighthouse is a retrieval engine over canonical SDLC reference content — RFCs, OWASP, NIST SP-800, framework documentation, practitioner writing, and post-cutoff release streams. It exposes a search API consumable over HTTP and Model Context Protocol. The corpus is assembled from public sources; we make a best effort to keep it current and accurate but make no warranty as to completeness or correctness.
Accounts
You may use Lighthouse anonymously within the anonymous-tier daily limit. Higher tiers require an account, created by signing in with an identity provider through Auth0. You're responsible for activity under your account; keep your credentials confidential.
Subscriptions and payment
- Paddle.com Market Limited is the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions. Paddle's terms and refund policy apply to the transaction; Paddle handles VAT and other applicable taxes.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- We may change prices for new subscriptions. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days notice before a renewal at a higher price.
- Refunds outside Paddle's standard policy are at our discretion — write to hello@harborgang.com if you have a reason.
Acceptable use
- Respect the daily search caps for your tier. Automated mass-scraping of the corpus, or attempts to circumvent caps, are not permitted.
- Don't use the Service to do anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to attack other systems.
- Don't share MCP tokens publicly. Tokens are tied to your account and we treat misuse as your responsibility.
- We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For abuse that affects service stability we may act without prior notice.
Content and intellectual property
The ingested corpus consists of public material under its original licences. We surface excerpts with attribution to the original source; we don't claim ownership over the underlying content. The selection, curation, summaries, keywords, and ranking model are our own work — © 2026 Harbor Gang. The "Lighthouse" and "Harbor Gang" word marks belong to Harbor Gang.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We take care with what we publish but cannot guarantee that every result is accurate, current, or fit for a particular purpose — including any use to ground LLM responses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms is capped at the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not commit to a specific uptime SLA on the public tiers. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned incidents will sometimes interrupt the Service.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or as required by law. On termination we'll delete or anonymise your data per the timelines in our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts at our place of establishment. Mandatory consumer-protection rights under your local law are not affected.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date and emailed to signed-in users at least 30 days before they take effect.
